Illustrations for the first issue of Malora Rivista. The issue talks about the social political heritage of Verona Città Transfemminista, a powerful three-day trans–feminist manifestation organized in 2019 by Non Una di Meno Verona, in order to protest against the World Family Congress that took place in the cities the same days.
The illustrations play with two elements: the Juliet statue, (that is both a stereotype of femininity and a strong female figure at the same time, and it is also a recognizable symbol of the city), and the pink flames used in Non Una di Meno manifestation signs.
