Set of illustrated placemats designed for Un Pasto al Giorno, fundraising event curated by illustrators professional association Autori di Immagini. I was asked to interpret the concept of sharing. I depicted an acrobatic performance in which, relying on one another, the acrobats set up a dining table. It is possible to combine the four placemats in any order, giving the image a slight different significance depending on where the dining table is: if it’s at the end, it represents the outcome of a common effort. If it’s a the beginning or in the middle, it’s a shared place where everyone can find nourishment.
Placemats will be sold online and in 800+ italian squares from sept 26.
