In order to find a pretext to start new drawings, I discontinuously enjoy making up stories that may or may not look real. This one was about Adso, a swiss architect who is the real mastermind behind the design of Bologna Central station (which is a usability nightmare, but also a psychedelic adventure, if you are willing to embrace the experience). He’s visionary, escherian (hence the carpet), and his work is deeply influenced by J.L. Borges’ Library of Babel and Michael Douglas Falling Down character. Here you have Adso in the middle of his creative process.
